The adoption of Vision Centre at Mandasa Village for rural eye treatment is one such initiative. The Concept of Vision Centre (Free Permanent Eye Testing Centre for Prevention of Eye Health Problems on Permanent Basis) aims to provide, eye examination, refraction services with spectacles and education with referral services.

a) Eye Examination.
b) Refraction Services with Spectacles.
c) Education with Referral Services.

The Permanent infrastructure of Vision Centre facility is as follows:

a) Well trained Vision Technician by L V Prasad Eye Institute and Sponsored by Lotus Wireless Technologies.
b) Appropriate equipment including slit lamp (Micro Scope with applanation lonometer) required for screening Eye Problems basically replicating an examination room which is on par with any examination room of the main hospital.
c) Spectacles are supplied at affordable price.

Eye Screening facility is provided free of cost Every child (Below 16 Years) is given eye care in Primary, Secondary and Teritiary care centers. All under privileged are given the Surgical facility free of cost.
This Vision Center serves to a population of 50,000 people living in 20-25 villages.
People from the neighboring villages gathered for the inauguration of the Vision Centre.
