WMUCS / Distributed Power Control System

Wireless Multi Unit Coupler System establishes a RF link between the Lead and Remote Locomotive(s). The Lead Locomotive gains Wireless Control over the entire consist. This enables distribution of power along the train which enhances hauling capacity, fuel efficiency, train safety, allows quicker brake pipe charging and more efficient operation. We have sucuessfully designed and delivered Distributed Power Wireless Control Systems for WAG7 locomotives, Distributed Power Wireless Control Systems for WAG9 locomotives, as well as DPCS for WDG3 and WDG4 locomotives to the Indian Railways. Furthermore, we have developed and supplied DPCS for WDG4 locomotives to Siemens and Electro Motive Diesel USA.
