ENGINEERING
Bespoke Defense Engineering
Lotus Wireless distinguishes itself as a premier provider of customized defence solutions, offering end-to-end capabilities that span in-house design, engineering, manufacturing, and rigorous testing. We do not just supply products; we partner with defense clients to engineer tailored solutions that meet the most demanding operational requirements, ensuring every system is built to survive and perform in critical scenarios.
By controlling the entire development lifecycle, we ensure strict adherence to military standards and quality benchmarks. Whether it is a modification of an existing platform or a completely new design, our integrated facility allows for rapid prototyping and deployment of mission-critical technology, from rugged electronics to autonomous marine systems.
VISUALIZATION
Rugged Visualization Systems
Our Military Grade Rugged HMI is engineered to withstand the most abusive field environments while delivering crystal-clear visuals. Featuring a 10.4” to 12.1” wide-aspect LED display with up to 1920x1080 resolution, these units are sunlight-readable, UV-protected, and housed in a durable machined-aluminum chassis. They require no supplemental cooling, ensuring reliability in extreme heat.
Designed for tactical efficiency, the HMI includes functional keys embedded directly into the metal body and utilizes an ultra-low latency controller for instant response. It is fully sealed to IP67 standards for dust and liquid protection and connects securely via full MIL-DTL-38999 connectors, making it impervious to the elements and ready for combat-zone deployment.
TELEMETRY
Scalable Remote Telemetry
The Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) 2800 stands as one of the industry's most scalable platforms, designed to facilitate extensive automation and communication networks on open protocols. It offers versatile connectivity options and supports up to 10,000 event logs with 1-millisecond time-stamping, ensuring precise data tracking and synchronization via built-in GPS.
This unit is built for flexibility, featuring pluggable modules for GPS, GPRS, and RF modems to suit diverse operational needs. With capabilities for both local and remote operation, inbuilt protocol conversion, and a touch screen for diagnostics, the RTU 2800 is the ideal backbone for large-scale integrated platform control where data integrity is paramount.
CONNECTIVITY
Advanced Field Communication
The Data Concentrator Unit (DCU) 8600 provides an industrial-grade communication hub for field data collection, robust enough for all-weather operation with its IP67 packaging. It leverages a redundant 865-867 MHz UHF RF modem enabled with the Optimesh protocol, along with Wi-Fi, 3G, and optional fiber interfaces, ensuring continuous connectivity even if one network path fails.
This system is designed with self-healing and auto-routing capabilities, allowing it to manage and forward data reliably across a canopy-type mesh network. Equipped with a 6-hour battery backup and onboard network management tools, the DCU 8600 ensures that critical field data is never lost, maintaining high-speed cloud connectivity and seamless protocol conversion in real-time.
COMPUTING
Battle-Ready Computing
Our Military Grade Rugged Control System is a custom-designed computing powerhouse built for ground and mobile applications. Enclosed in a heavy-duty aluminum chassis, it is environmentally sealed to IP67 and engineered to meet a suite of rigorous standards, including MIL-STD-810F for environmental stress and MIL-STD-901D for high shock resistance.
Despite its low-power architecture, the system delivers high performance with a 1GHz MPU and a versatile range of interfaces including CAN, Gigabit Ethernet, and galvanic isolated analog I/O. It provides a stable, secure platform for mission processing, fully compliant with EMI/RFI emission standards (MIL-STD-461E), ensuring it operates without interference in electronically noisy combat environments.
